Circa 1780. George III, Greek Revival. Grand size. Center frieze is Diana the Huntress of Roman Mythology. Multi-tiered shelf with Egg and Dart border. Substantial plinth blocks support columns with Ionic scrolls and acanthus leaves corner blockings. This mantel has enormous presence.
