Circa 1730. George II, Neo-Palladian. Rounded arch and detailed florals and centerpiece bouquet. May have been designed as an overmantel, with mirrored glass (very expensive at the time) in the opening. Sometimes used as an overmantel for the 146, or as a decorative mantel. The 34" opening width poses a conflict with standard 36" fireboxes of today.
